2PM’s Taecyeon Apologizes to Infinite Fans

 On June 9, Taecyeon tweeted, “I think there was a misunderstanding~ I think resolving this is important~ Congratulations to Infinite on its second year anniversary. I will make sure no misunderstandings come up in the future~ ^^”

On June 8, G.Na had tweeted, “Though I didn’t get first place, thank you to all those that voted for me along with Baek Ji Young senior and Infinite senior on today’s Mnet M Countdown.”

To this Taecyeon had tweeted, “I’m amazed the Infinite kids are your seniors noona.”

G.Na responded, “whyyyy!! =p hmm guess age wise.. is it because I’m a noona? U guys r like big seniors man. =],” while Taecyeon responded, “Like i always say, we′re growing old together haha.”

However, some Infinite fans misinterpreted Taecyeon’s mention as disregarding Infinite’s senior status leading to his clarification and apology.

Dr. Jin’s flower boy officer Kim Jae Joong found his own way of melting reality into the drama.

On June 8, Kim Jae Joong tweeted a photo with the text, ‘Head Officer Jang and Mr. Officer’.

The photo is from the set of Dr. Jin, and shows Kim Jae Joong with his hair up in a topknot matched with a pair of sunglasses. Tradition, meet the modern world.

 Lee Min Ho is the SNS King with 10 Million Followers

It’s come to attention that Lee Min Ho of Boys over Flowers and City Hunter fame has more than 10 million followers on all of his social networking sites (SNS).

Starhaus Entertainment stated on June 8, “On June 6, he had about 5.4 million followers on Facebook, 4 million on Weibo, 660,000 on Twitter and 230,000 on me2day, totaling up to about 10.3 million followers.”

Lee Min Ho’s SNS accounts are followed by not just Koreans, but fans from around the world in Europe, USA, Southeast Asia and more.

 Through Facebook and Twitter, Lee Min Ho communicates with his fans worldwide, while Weibo is focused on his Chinese fans and me2day for his Korean fans. Japan, which uses a mobile messenger called ‘Line,’ even opened up a special Lee Min Ho channel, making Lee Min Ho the first Korean celebrity to have one.

A representative of his company said, “Lee Min Ho is always trying to find easier ways to get in touch with his fans. He shares what he’s up to and asks what his fans are doing, exchanging honest conversation. Lee Min Ho’s determination and passion [to communicate with fans] is perhaps even more surprising than his 10 million followers on his SNS.”

Lee Min Ho is currently filming SBS’ upcoming drama, Faith with Kim Hee Sun. He said the SNS messages from fans have been of great support during his drama filming process. The drama is set to air in August.

Kim Junsu to Release New Dance Version MV of ‘Tarantallegra’

 With his first solo album finding massive success, Kim Junsu is preparing another treat for his fans.

On June 7, Kim Junsu’s C-Jes Entertainment revealed it will release a dance version music video of his hit title song Tarantallegra.

Unlike the original version, which drew praise for its lavish set and costumes and stunning visual effects, the dance version will highlight the song’s performance and choreography.

The dance performance for the song has been receiving critical response since the song’s release and previously made headlines for being choreographed by the famous American choreographer, Jeri Slaughter, who previously worked for such global stars as Christina Aguilera.

Regarding the upcoming dance music video, the music video’s director said, “If the original music video focused on the merits and talents of Kim Junsu, this music video will be edited to highlight the choreography which was less prominent in the original music video.”

The director added, “This music video will include new, unseen footages and will not be a follow-up music video but a new music video.”

The dance version music video will be unveiled through the official JYJ YouTube channel on June 11.

Jang Keun Suk to Release Korean Cookbook in Japan

 Not satisfied with only releasing albums,dramas and movies, Jang Keun Suk will soon be the author of his very own cookbook in Japan.

On June 10, Jang Keun Suk will release a cookbook in Japan titled Jang Keun Suk’s Love Recipe.

The actor and singer has previously shared in interviews he has a strong interest in cooking and Jang Keun Suk’s Love Recipe will contain all his expertise, tips and personal stories from his own culinary experience.

The book will also contain 20 different recipes intended for families, friends and lovers and will also contain a photo essay showing Jang Keun Suk going about his daily life.

Some of the recipes included in the book are for kimchi jjigae, dumping rice cake soup and gujeolpan (traditional Korean wrap dish for royalty). All the dishes featured in the book were created by Jang Keun Suk himself.

As an additional treat for fans, the book will contain a special DVD which will include footage of Jang Keun Suk cooking, the behind-the-scenes of the recipe book and scenes from the making of the book.

The book will have a listed price of 3,810 yen (~48 USD).
