Lee Seung Gi Celebrates 8th Anniversary Since Debut
The ultimate ‘multi-tainer’ Lee Seung Gi may only be 25 years old, but he’s already been in the business for a whopping eight years – to the day.
On June 5, 2004, Lee Seung Gi debuted as just another solo singer – but his first single, Because You’re My Girl (Noona) was a megahit, turning the then 17-year-old singer into one of Korea’s original ‘noona-killers’.The young singer went on to launch an acting career with MBC’s Nonstop 5, KBS’ The Infamous Chil Sisters, SBS’ Brilliant Legacy, SBS’ My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, MBC’s The Greatest Love and most recently, MBC’s The King 2Hearts.
Of course, dramas and music shows weren’t the only places that Lee Seung Gi popped up. Not only was he a regular on old shows like SBS’ X-Man, he joined the regular cast of mega-hit variety show KBS’ 1 Night, 2 Days, before becoming the MC of SBS’ Strong Heart.
Thanks to his ultra-prolific career, it’s been ages since the Korean television industry hasn’t featured Lee Seung Gi on any show and reruns mean Lee Seung Gi is basically guaranteed to pop up on your TV screen at least once a day.
But to celebrate his eighth anniversary and to make up for the lack of Lee Seung Gi in your life, I’ve got a whole bunch of Lee Seung Gi photos to make your day. -
